Come to the Swanton Public Library from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, January 20, for an afternoon all about anime and otakudom! Join us to eat snacks (Japanese and otherwise), watch two or three episodes of an anime (or two) chosen by the attendees, and play Japanese dance videos and other geeky videos if requested. Participants are welcome to come in cosplay. No registration required for this free event.
On Saturday, January 23 from 10:30 am to 11:15 am, come celebrate National Popcorn Day at the library! Hear popcorn stories, play popcorn games, make a cool popcorn craft, and, of course, eat plenty of popcorn! Register for this free program by visiting the library, calling 419-826-2760, or signing up online at www.swantonpubliclibrary.org
