While the Archbold Blue Streaks gear up to face off against the Patrick Henry Patriots on Friday, Archbold’s Homecoming Court is preparing for the Homecoming Dance this Saturday. The Homecoming Court this year consists of four Attendants, four Escorts, the King, and Queen.
The Attendant representing the Freshman class is Blair Bucklew; she will be escorted by Josh Kidder, son of James and Jen Kidder. Blair is the daughter of Ben and Breanna Bucklew, a member of the Student Council, and plays basketball, volleyball, and softball. When not busy with school or extracurricular activities, Blair enjoys relaxing with a good movie.
Representing the Sophomore class is Corrie Riley, escorted by Mario Sebastian Garza, son of Ren and Sarah Ackerman. Corrie is the daughter of Jaycee and Buffy Riley, and a part of the choir, show choir, and band. When she has free time, Corrie enjoys reading or playing music.
Representing the Junior class is Darby Stevens, daughter of Jan Wyse, and Jerry Stevens. Darby will be escorted by Jonah Waidelich, son of Ron and Julie Waidelich. Darby is a member of the band, SYF youth group, and plays Tennis. When she has the time, Darby enjoys creating art.
Representing the Senior class is Cassi Wyse, escorted by Benjamin Gomez, son of Ben and Anna Gomez. Cassi is the daughter of Jen and Dave Wyse. Cassi plays soccer, basketball, and softball.
This year’s King is Adam Grisier, son of Gwen Grisier and the late Eric Grisier. Adam is a member of NHS, choir, and his church’s youth group. When he is not busy with school or extracurricular activi¬ties, Adam enjoys listening to music and playing golf.
Lastly, this year’s Queen is Alicia Hernandez, daughter of Patsy Magallanes and Junior Hernandez. Alicia is a member of the FCCLA, NHS, STEM, and STAMP. She also is a part of the soccer, cross country, and track teams.
