MONTPELIER – Montpelier took advantage of its balanced scoring attack as the Locos prevailed over North Central, 67-47, to claim the Buckeye Border Holiday Classic championship.
The Locos (8-1) had four players reach double figures led by Gavyn Bass and Hayden Sharps, both contributing with 15 points apiece. CJ Fidler tallied 14 points, and Wesley Hartsock finished with 12 points.
Jackson Poynter led North Central (6-3) with nine points while Zack Whitley and Thane Martin both contributed seven points.
