SHOPS … Each shop was in its own Christmas hut, protecting both the vendor and their wares from the elements.

Bryan’s Courthouse Square has seen about half of the Christkindl Markets come this year.

The vendors each had their own quaint huts that protected them and their wares from the elements, and Santa’s Snak Haus had all of the warm, yummy treats to keep everyone happy in the cold weather seen recently.

SNAK HAUS … Some great treats can be had at the Snak Haus at the Christkindl Market, perfect for winter evenings.

Even the rain didn’t stop Bryan from coming out, as the rain on Friday managed to only slow the foot traffic downtown. In fact, the Bryan High School band even came out and played music for all of those meandering from shop to shop.

If you haven’t had the chance to check this cool experience out yet, there is still time. The Christkindl Market will be happening from 4 to 8 p.m. on December 7-9, and 14-16.

All of your Christmas needs are sure to be met if you visit, and the market sure looks beautiful underneath the lights hanging about Courthouse Square!

BHS BAND … The Bryan High School band braved the elements and gave the market goers a performance from underneath the shelter of the gazebo in downtown Bryan at the Courthouse Square on Friday night.
