OBIT - HAYESBurl Kenton Hayes Jr., 53, passed away December 10, 2013 at his home in Madras Oregon.
He was born January 20, 1960 in Edon Ohio to Burl and Carol (Annis) Hayes.
Kent attended school in Hicksville and Edon before joining the US Air Force where he served 15 years.
He is survived by 2 sons, Anthony (Dulce) Hayes, Albuquerque NM and Michael Hayes, Edon OH; a daughter, Christina Sumners, Box Elder, SD; 3 grandchildren, Alexis, Marcus and Lily Sumners; his mother Carol Jennings, Antwerp OH; 10 brothers and sisters, Cheryl Smith, Julie (Robert) Onstott, Linda (William) Elwood, Hicksville OH, Janie Smith, Jacksonville FL, Carrie (Greg) Livensparger and Micky Keller, Edon OH, Brian Heitzmann, Bryan OH, Lisa Hayes and Eric Heitzmann of Red Oak TX, and Jeff Heitzmann of Tomball TX.
He was preceded in death by his father Burl Hayes and his sister Susan Busche.
Please join his family and friends December 20, 2013 at the Rotary Park Pavilion (2pm) Hicksville OH to remember Kent and celebrate his life.
