Dalia Lucila Quintanilla, age 80 of Archbold, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 6th, 2024, at Defiance Hospice Center.
Dalia was born in McAllen, Texas, on August 17th, 1944, to the daughter of Gerardo Jaramillo and Juana Jaramillo (Sanchez). On January 25th, 1969, she married Baldemar Quintanilla in Edinburg, Texas.
Dalia found joy in preparing meals for her loved ones. She was deeply devoted to her faith and was a regular attendee at Sunday church services. Her family was her greatest passion, and she adored them deeply.
Surviving is her sister Hermelinda Zavala of San Antonio TX, 3 sons; Baldemar Quintanilla Jr (Whitney) of Archbold, Emilio (Tammy) Quintanilla, of Defiance Gerardo (Denece) Quintanilla of Daytona FL; 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many relatives. Dalia was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, 3 daughters, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 13, at Templo Cristiano, 300 Park St. in Archbold, from 10am – 12 with a Memorial Service and luncheon to follow. www.ShortFuneralHome.com
