Debra S. Wheeler, age 79, of Bryan, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021, at McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. She was born on January 28, 1942 in Charleston, West Virginia, to Andrew and Pauline (Blankenship (Faber)) Litchfield.

On April 1, 1970, she married William “Bill” L. Wheeler, on his birthday, in West Unity, and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2018.

Debra worked at the former Beatrice Foods in Archbold, was the dietary supervisor for Oral Roberts University, University Village in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and most recently worked and retired from Kamco in West Unity.

In her free time, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Her other hobbies include crocheting, cooking, and watching the Hallmark Channel – which her favorite movie was “A Country Wedding”. She was a member of Restoration Tabernacle in Defiance.

Surviving Debra are her children, Karen (Vic) Potter, Curt (Laura) Coffman, Carol (Alan) Warner, Kevin (Lisa) Coffman, and Billie Wheeler; 23 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Richard (Dongsu) Litchfield; and sister, Teresa Funk.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Courtney Sue Vincent and Nicole Elizabeth Wheeler; three brothers, Charles Martin, Ronald, and Michael Litchfield; and two sisters, Patricia Legg and Judy Terry.

Visitation for Debra will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home – Fayette Chapel. Due to the ongoing pandemic and social distancing regulations, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings are required. Funeral services will be private on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 12:00 P.M., with a public interment to follow at Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette.  Pastor H. G. Strickland will officiate.

Online condolences to the family may be offered at www.eaglemarryfuneralhome.com.

Memorial gifts in Debra’s memory may be offered to Restoration Tabernacle.  The Eagle-Marry Funeral Home – Fayette Chapel has been entrusted with Debra’s arrangements.
