Derek T. Short (Pete) age 35, of Stryker Ohio passed away suddenly Saturday morning, August 22, 2020, at his home. He was born October 21st, 1984 at Toledo Hospital, the son of Richard and Pam (Young) Short. A 2003 graduate of Pettisville High School, he worked at Nofziger Farm Service and then Nofziger Trucking.
He enjoyed working in his shop, cutting firewood, helping his friends and family, and of course tractor pulls.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Ella Sharp of Stryker; his father Richard and his wife Sharon Short of Pettisville; one brother Brandon (Tasha) Short of Pettisville; and nephews Wyatt, Ryder, Brantley, and Bowen.
He was preceded in death by his mother Pam Short.
Friends and family may call at Short Funeral Home from 4-8pm on Thursday August 27th. Graveside services will be held on Friday August 28th at 10am at Pettisville Cemetery with minister Bill Cummins officiating.
