donna-l-lumpDonna L. Lump, age 88, of Edon, Ohio, died at 1:20 A.M. on Monday, September 19, 2016, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio, where she was a resident. Mrs. Lump was a 1946 graduate of Edon High School and worked as an editor for Earth Publications in Edgerton, retiring in 1999 with twenty years of service. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Edon, where she sang in the choir and played the organ, and was a member of Edon American Legion Post #662 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing the piano any time she could.

Donna L. Lump was born on March 23, 1928, in Garrett, Indiana, the daughter of Vane V. and Esther M. (Messner) Shook. She married Donald D. Lump on November 24, 1954, in Edon, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1999.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela K. Lump, of Spring City, Pennsylvania; one son, Curtis J. Lump, of Angola, Indiana; and three granddaughters, Alethea Williams, of Henderson, North Carolina, Janelle and Savannah Hunt, both of Philadelphia; and one great-granddaughter, Rihanna Williams.

Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 23, 2016. Services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, with Pastor Roger Marlow officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery.

Memorials in the name of Donna L. Lump are requested to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
