Eric Lee Sniegowski, age 46, of Delta, Ohio, peacefully passed away at the Embassy of Swanton with his wife and mother by his side early Sunday morning December 15, 2024, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
He was born to the late Gerald and Patricia (Krueger) Sniegowski who survives on February 26, 1978.
Eric graduated from Bowsher High School in 1996. On October 1, 2005, he married the love of his life, Stephanie Patterson and they would spend 19 loving years together, raising five beautiful children who are left to carry on his legacy.
He most recently worked at NorthStar Blue Scope Steel as a heavy equipment operator. Before his employment with NorthStar, he worked at Brown Honda as a new car detailer for over 20 years.
Eric was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring 1990’s BMX bikes and riding them with his children. Eric was blessed with superb grilling skills which he displayed along with his talent for smoking meat.
Left to honor Eric’s memory are his wife, Stephanie; children, Brock, Logan, Taylor, Alyssa and Wyatt; his mother, Patricia Sniegowski of Delta; sister, Jennie Hayden of Perrysburg; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Debra (Chris) Patterson of Delta and loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Sniegowski in 2020; paternal grandparents, Patricia (Adamski) Sniegowski in 2021 and Frank Sniegowski Jr. in 1999; maternal grandparents, Theodosia (Vantassel) Kruger in 1987 and Walter Krueger in 2004.
A memorial service for Eric will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Hope Church of Delta, 101 Northwood Dr., Delta, Ohio 43515. Pastor Kent Winkler will be officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family care of Stephanie Sniegowski for the future education of their children.
