BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Bryan 55, Montpelier 52 – The Golden Bears had three players in double figures to gain a three point NWOAL victory. Dylan Lehman and Colt Arthur led with 13 and Jacob Garza added 10 in the win. The Locomotives had the game’s leading scorer as Kolden Uribes accumulated 23 points and Michael Blake added 15.
Archbold 61, Patrick Henry 37 – After ending the first quarter with a 19-4 advantage, the Blue Streaks went on for a big NWOAL win over the Patriots. Bryce Williams led the Streaks with three 3-point goals and finished with 16 points. Kaiden Bedsole was the other Streak in double figures with 11. Alex van DeBussche guided the Patriots with 12 points to go with his eight defensive rebounds and two blocked shots.
Liberty Center 61, Evergreen 32 – Evergreen was held to 15 first half points as the Tigers dominated through including a 20-8 margin in the fourth quarter for the NWOAL win. The Tigers had 10 players in the score column led by Joel Studer with 13. Four players scored eight points apiece including Brooks Hinton, Justin Saneholtz, Tim Wymer and Zach Carpenter.

GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Fayette 51, Pettisville 36 – The Eagles received help with 11 foul shot makes and outrebounded the Blackbirds 32-18 enroute to the BBC victory. Kaela Seiler led Fayette with 17 points and Taylor Griffiths added 12. Pettisville was led with 15 points from Alexa Leppelmeier. Anya Kauffman, who drained two 3’s in the fourth quarter, finished with eight.
Hilltop 50, Edon 31 – Despite hitting on just five of 16 foul shots, the Cadets were helped with 19 points from Allie Schmitt as they defeated the Bombers. Edon scored 13 of their game points in the final stanza and were led in scoring by Kaitlyn Sonneberger with 10 points.
Stryker 57, North Central 16 – Taylor Haines had the hot hand for the Panthers as the junior connected on triple 3’s to finish with 15 points. Her teammates Haley Doehrmann and Audra Rupp had 12 and 10 points respectively. The Eagles, struggling offensively, scored just seven first-half points. Kelsie Beres led North Central with five points.
JV GIRLS BASKETBALL
Stryker 29, North Central 23 – The Panthers led throughout the contest. Even scoring for Stryker included Emma Grime and Anna Stuckey leading with eight points apiece, while Brittany Haines added six. The Eagles were paced with six points each from Emma Zenz and Erin Ryan.
