NEW GRASS TRUCK … Florence Township Fire Department took delivery of a new grass truck this past February replacing a 1993 truck that was 20 years old and due for replacement in the truck rotation. Its chassis was bought by the Township Trustees through the State Purchasing Program and they purchased the pump and tank for the unit as well; the bed and fabrication of the truck was funded through the Business Association and from various Department fundraisers done during the year.
