Glen A. Frey (1961-2012)

Glen A. Frey, age 51, of rural West Unity, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 31, 2012, in his home. He worked in maintenance for Rupp Seed, Inc. in Pettisville since 1979, and he had also been a lifelong area farmer.

Glen was born in Wauseon on August 9, 1961, the son of Merle and Evelyn (Prowant) Frey. On September 25, 1987 he married Lisa Stuckey, and she survives. Glen attended Solid Rock Community Church in West Unity, where he also served as a trustee and attended a weekly bible study. Glen lived his life dedicated to serving the Lord. He loved anything outdoors, including fishing, hiking, and canoeing. He also enjoyed sporting events, farming and reading. Most of all, Glen enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving, besides his wife, Lisa, are four sons, Cody (Samantha) Frey of Stryker, Cale (Lauren Bontrager) Frey, Conner (Baily Grime) Frey, and Cameron Frey at home; parents, Merle and Evelyn Frey of Wauseon, three brothers; Larry (DeAnn) Frey of Wauseon, Don (Cathy) Frey of Wauseon, Terry Frey of Wauseon;, father and mother-in-law, Richard and Shirley Stuckey of West Unity, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Audra Hershberger of Iowa, brother and sister-in-law Steve and Janet Stuckey of Pennsylvania, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Glen’s Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Solid Rock Community Church in West Unity, with Pastor Ron Kauffman, officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Grove Cemetery in West Unity. Friends may call at Solid Rock Community Church in West Unity on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Solid Rock Community Church Mission Fund or Home Health and Hospice. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker has been entrusted with arrangements.
