DELTA – Sophia Burres went 11/17 at the line on her way to 21 points as Delta (4-14) overcome an early deficit to beat the Eagles 48-36.

Nevaeh Powers hit three triples and three free throws to total 12 points for Fayette (0-18).

JUNIOR VARSITY: Fayette, 21-18

Hilltop 55 Edgerton 25

EDGERTON – Hilltop (13-6) led 31-10 at halftime as they cruised to a 55-25 win at Edgerton (2-17). Libbie Baker had a game-high 22 points for the Cadets and Jayma Bailey added 11.

Edgerton’s Taylor Smith had four trifectas for 12 points.

Montpelier 63 Pettisville 41

PETTISVILLE – Four Lady Locos were in double digits to help Montpelier (18-3, 6-0 BBC) clinch at least a share of their third straight BBC championship.

Ariel Page topped Montpelier with 19, Chelsea McCord had 15, Jada Uribes registered 13, and Trinity Richmire contributed 11. Ellie Grieser led the way for Pettisville (1-5, 3-17) with 19.

Napoleon 49 Archbold 27

ARCHBOLD – The Bluestreaks started strong with a 12-7 lead after one quarter but were outscored 42-15 the rest of the way by Napoleon.

Emma Pedroza and Sophie Chipps had 14 points each for Napoleon (16-3) while Addi Ziegler led Archbold (12-7) with eight.

Swanton 46 Otsego 18

TONTOGANY – Swanton canned 11 triples as a team to lead the Bulldogs to a convincing 46-18 win. Jayden Hendricks had 10 pints to lead Swanton (9-9) while Allison Fagerman had three three-pointers for nine points.

Hicksville 50 Edon 23

EDON – Kenzie Schroeder had nine buckets and was 4/6 at the charity stripe as the Aces (13-6) overpowered Edon 50-23. Emma Hickman topped the Edon (5-15) offense with nine points.

Wauseon 51 Anthony Wayne 41

WHITEHOUSE – The Indians (16-3) pulled away with a 16-9 third quarter and had a 20-8 advantage at the foul line in a 51-41 victory at Anthony Wayne.

Marisa Seiler had 19 points for Wauseon and Hayley Meyer added 14

BOYS BASKETBALL

Swanton 66 Delta 40

DELTA – The Bulldogs (16-2, 5-0 NWOAL) had three players in double digits as they moved a game closer to a league title after their 66-40 win at Delta.

Nic Borojevich had 17 for Swanton, Luc Borojevich added 15, and Sam Betz totaled 13. Justin Ruple and Nolan Risner each tallied nine for the Panthers (7-10, 1-4).

Archbold 60 Tinora 36

DEFIANCE – Archbold (12-5) knocked down six treys to lead them past Tinora 60-36 in a non-league contest.

DJ Newman topped the Archbold with 19, Alex Roth added 13, and Jayden Seiler had 11.

Patrick Henry 34 Wauseon 27

HAMLER – Facing a 27-20 deficit with 3:34 left in the game, the Patriots (12-5, 3-2 NWOAL) went on a 14-0 run to end the game to knock off Wauseon (11-8, 3-2 NWOAL) 34-27.

Jonas Tester led Wauseon, who used a 15-2 run to take the seven-point advantage, with eight points.

Continental 38 Montpelier 31

MONTPELIER – The Locos (2-15) lost their sixth straight game dropping non-league matchup with Continental 38-31.

Montpelier’s Garrett Walz dropped 14 pointers to lead all scorers on the night.

Holgate 57 Fayette 50

HOLGATE – The Tigers took control with a 16-1 second quarter and then held off the Eagles in the final quarter to get the 57-50 win.

Abe Kelly topped Holgate (6-11, 2-4 BBC) with 15 and Robbie Thacker had 14. Elijah Lerma guided the Eagles (10-7, 3-3) with a game-high 21 and Skylar Lester added 12.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Holgate, 45-19

Hicksville 49 Edgerton 42

EDGERTON – Hicksville (12-7, 3-3 GMC) led 19-9 at halftime and held on for the win despite the Bulldogs draining six three-pointers in the second half.

Nathan Swank, who accounted for three of the triples, had 11 points for Edgerton (5-14, 0-6) and Nate Timbrook added 10.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Hicksville, 43-15

Fairview 68 Hilltop 36

WEST UNITY – It was all Apaches (6-13) as they took a 24-5 lead after one quarter to roll to a win at Hilltop 68-36.

Matthew Wyse fronted the Cadets (2-13) with eight points and Raace Haynes contributed seven.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Fairview, 33-29

Ayersville 56 Stryker 46

STRYKER – The Pilots (14-3) were in front 41-40 after three quarters and outscored Stryker 15-6 in the fourth to pull away for the win.

Jacob Cadwell had 11 points and Michael Donovan added 10 to front the Panthers (7-12).
