Hilltop Cadets Fall At Home To Non Conference Foe Swanton Bulldogs

WEST UNITY: January 21, 2014 – Hilltop played host to the Swanton Bulldogs on Tuesday, January 21, falling to the visiting Bulldogs 66-54.

For Hilltop, Jalen Towers hit for a team high 18, while snagging 11 rebounds while big Miklo Abner had 11. Freshman Quinn Smith hit for 10 on the game along with 3 assists. Ryan Booker dropped 9 on the night; teammate Tim Maneval had 4 points along with 9 boards and 3 assists. Nic Schieber rounded out the scoring with 2 on the night.

As a team, the Cadets shot 31 percent from the three range and 46 percent from the field. Hilltop also snagged 30 rebounds in the game while committing 12 turnovers in the loss.

Hilltop moves to 1-10 with the loss while still hunting for their first victory in the BBC, remaining at 0-4 in the conference.
