Jared Michael Liechty, age 35, of Archbold, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Toledo Hospital. He was employed at Jacoby Meats in West Unity as a meat cutter.
Jared was born in Wauseon, on March 17, 1981, the son of Doug and Judy (Howard) Liechty, and they survive. He was a member of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Archbold. He was a proud former member of the Stryker Fire Department, an avid NASCAR fan, a huge U of M sports fan, and he enjoyed golfing. Most of all, he loved his children.
Surviving are his children Logan, Lillie and Lola Liechty, of Stryker; brother, David (Angela) Liechty of Archbold, sister, Jill (Gordie) Frey of Archbold, twin brother, Joshua Liechty of Fayette; parents, Doug and Judy Liechty of Fayette; grandmother, Irene Liechty of Archbold; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to the Benevolence of the Family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.
