John W. Bish

John W. Bish, 70 years, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016, in Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance. John was born May 4, 1945 in Montpelier, Ohio, the son of the late Harry and Evelyn (Miller) Bish. He was a 1963 graduate of Stryker High School. John worked at ARO Corporation for 38 years until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233. John was an avid Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Surviving are his two children, John A. Bish of Bryan, Ohio, and Sondra (Mark) McDowell of Grand Rapids, Ohio; two grandchildren, Wes and Brandon Joy; one sister, Louise (Marvin) Hartman of Springfield, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Robert “Gene” Gallant of Michigan City, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Max Bish and Loyd Bish, and one sister, Eileen Gallant.

There will be no visitation and services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
