Kaye F. Monk, age 83, of Montpelier and formerly of Wauseon, passed away in her home on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
Kaye was born in Milan, Michigan, on September 1, 1940, the daughter of Ernest and Edith Belle (Clark) Cole.
On February 27, 1960, she married Earl Monk, and he preceded her in death in 2017. Kaye was a constant organizer and loved going to the races at Oakshade Raceway.
Surviving Kaye is her son, Ernest (Anne Marie) Monk of California; daughter, Kathleen (Eric) Skates of Wauseon; grandchildren, Sarah and Randall; and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Savannah, Robert and Britnee. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Hackney of Florida and half-brother, Bob Cole of Swanton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Roger and Ray Cole.
In accordance with Kaye’s wishes, there will be no services.
