Kenneth E. HarmonKenneth E. Harmon, 88, of Bryan passed away Tuesday evening at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier. He was born on April 20, 1927 in Montpelier to Earl Emerson and Martha Marie (Shaull) Harmon. Kenny graduated from Montpelier High School in 1945. He married Erma M. Kizer on October 8, 1960 and she preceded him in death on February 8, 2012.

Kenny retired in 1988 from Hause Valve Machines, Inc, in Montpelier after 24 years as a machinist. He also worked at Ohio Art in Bryan for 24 years. 

He is survived by his children Daniel (Jill) Barnard of Bryan, Judy Peck of Bryan; three grandchildren Debbie (David) Stephens of Findlay, Dorothy (Russell) Lambert of Archbold and Kevin Barnard of Fayette; five great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and one brother Maurie Harmon of Zephrhills, Florida.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, wife Erma, a great granddaughter Matty Lambert, a brother William Harmon, and sisters Cleola Tressler and Garnet Kuehnle.

Visitation for Kenny will be on Saturday, January 9 from 11am – 2pm at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier. Services will immediately
follow at 2pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cops for Kids in Bryan. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com.   [showad block=2]
