Kenneth W. “Kenny” Frank, age 83, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away Wednesday evening, December 14, 2016 in Community Hospitals and Wellness Center, Bryan, Ohio. Mr. Frank was born September 10, 1933 near Pettisville, Ohio, the son of Herman and Gladys (Aeschliman) Frank. He married Marilyn L. (Schooley) Frank on July 6, 1957 in Edgerton United Methodist Church, and she survives.

A longtime resident of the Stryker area, Kenny was a retired owner of Frank’s Saw Mill, served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He attended the Stryker United Methodist Church, was a former President of the Stryker Chamber of Commerce, and served as chairman of the United Way Fund Drive. He enjoyed following the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, New York Yankees, and the Stryker Panthers. Some of Kenny’s favorite hobbies were spending time at the lake with his family, fishing, camping and golfing. He leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Marilyn L. (Schooley) Frank, three children: Diane (Jim) Wyse, of Stryker, Dave (Kathy) Frank, of Stryker, Denise (Mike) Meyer, of Stryker. Grandchildren, Zac (KC) Wyse, Kelby (Nicole) Wyse, Eric Frank, Kristi Frank, Mackenzie (Dusty) Hug, and Seth (Sarah) Meyer. Great-grandchildren, Owen and Beckett Wyse, Tripp and Bria Hug and Dominic Wyse. Brothers, Leland (Helen) Frank, Donald (Judy) Frank. Sister, Rose English.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Charles, Ronald, Eugene, Richard, and sister Jenny Wooten.

Friends may call for time of visitation with the family 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Stryker United Methodist Church. Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Stryker United Methodist Church, Stryker, Ohio. Rev. Dr. James Ernst officiating. Private interment in Evansport Cemetery. Funeral luncheon will follow the Celebration of Life Service in the church.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Stryker United Methodist Church, or the Stryker School’s Foundation.
