Laurel A. Gridham, age 68, of Archbold, and formerly of Tedrow, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019, at the University of Toledo medical Center. Laurel had been a nurses’ aide and worked in child care for many years.
Laurel was born in Fulton County, Ohio on October 19, 1951, the daughter of Leonard and Leona (Stites) Moden. She was a member of the Tedrow United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her son, Roy (Angel) Girdham, Jr. of Tedrow; six grandchildren, Tom, Deven, Justin, Zach, Caitie and Brady Girdham; sisters, Donna (Paul) Rohrs of Stryker, Karen (Terry) Yeager of Delta; brothers, Conrad J. (Karen) Moden of Ottokee, Raymond L. Moden of Tedrow, Leonard, Jr. (Kim) Moden of Mira Loma, CA, Philip (Becky) Moden of Surprise, AZ, Roger (Linda) Moden Delta, Keith (Linda) Moden of Athens, AL, John (Jenny) Moden of Tedrow; sister-in-law, Cathy Thiel of Bryan and brother-in-law, Thomas Yarbro of Fayette. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Leona Moden; two daughters, Dreama Lynn and Lesa Marie Girdham; brother, David Moden; sister, Beverly Yarbro; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Moden.
Visitation for Laurel will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, at the Tedrow United Methodist Church, with Pastor Kevin Cochran, officiating. Interment will follow in the Tedrow Cemetery.
