(Enjoyed Bingo At Pioneer Senior Center)

Lee Ann Lofgren was born on June 8, 1940 in Currie, Minnesota and left us on July 23rd, 2023, surrounded by family, friends, and beloved canine Kaylee.

She was a resident of Merry Lake (Camden) MI for almost 30 years. Every spring she waited for the return of the migratory birds – especially the red-wings, orioles, grosbeak, and hummers.

In summer she battled the raccoons, squirrels and chipmunks that decimated her bird feeders and her vegetables and flowers grown on the deck. She delighted in it all.

Lee Ann enjoyed shopping (too much), and Wednesday bingo at the Pioneer Senior Center was one of her favorite activities. She liked to stop in the stores and have long talks with people she knew.

She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montpelier, OH – strong in her faith and belief in God.

For many years she was an active participant with the Altar Society where she was always willing to help when she could.

A Celebration of Lee Ann’s life will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be interred in Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, MI, next to those of her husband, two sons, her parents, and brother.

Her family expresses their sincere gratitude to her wonderful neighbors and friends and all who cared about her in this lifetime.

Memorial contributions are requested to The Humane Society of Branch County, 969 Wildwood Road, Quincy MI 49082.

Condolences may be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com
