The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved the following resolutions Aug. 16:
Contracted with Frey and Sons for the 2016 County Auction to be held Sept. 24 at the county engineer’s building.
Allowed renters of county farm property to apply for federal funds to offset the cost of grassy filter strip installations.
At the Aug. 18 meeting commissioners:
Discussed receiving notice from ODOT that the agency will fund 95 percent of the county’s project to replace turf runway markers. The county must put out the project for bid and select a contractor by May 15, 2017.
Received notice from the Ohio EPA about an inspection of the county landfill. The lagoons were at 4.4 feet, well below the maximum operating depth of 7 feet. The county must continue to haul leachate from the lagoons.
