Local Ohio State Trooper Honored For Quick Thinking & Heroism

Trooper Michael D WEBTrooper Michael D. Rucker of the West Jefferson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Columbus Police Officer Amy Detweiler were honored today for their heroic actions. They were presented with Certificates of Recognition at the West Jefferson Post by Capt. Shawn Lee, Columbus District Commander. On October 25, 2015, Trooper Rucker and Officer Detweiler acted quickly to pull a man from a burning vehicle in Columbus on State Route 315.
