
Mary J. Frazee, 64, of Montpelier, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 28, 2019 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance following a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on January 18, 1955 in Napoleon, Ohio to Carl H. and Esther M. (Gerken) Bostelman. Mary graduated from Napoleon High School in 1973. On April 25, 1987 she married Lee Frazee at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Montpelier and he survives.
In addition to her loving husband, Mary is survived by her children Joshua (Rebecca) Frazee of Indianapolis, Indiana and Sgt. Caleb Frazee of Mount Pleasant, Michigan; three grandchildren who were the biggest joy in her life, Alicia, Skylar and Brooklyn Frazee; seven siblings, Jerry (Janice) Bostelman of Wauseon, Larry C. Bostelman of Defiance, Terry (Cheryl) Bostelman of Ridgeville Corners, Carol (Don) Behrman of Malinta, Ohio, Joyce (Jeff) Colegrove of Fayette, Sandy K. Bostelman of Wauseon and Shelli (Rod) Luzar of Camden Michigan; brothers- in- law Jack Lugbill of Archbold and Daniel Frazee of Montpelier.Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lee’s parents Earl and Betty Frazee, and two sisters Linda Lugbill and Cindy Bostelman.
Mary served for many years in the banking industry greeting customers with her kindness and big smile, first at Home Savings and Loan in Napoleon, and more recently at Farmers and Merchants State Bank in Archbold. She was also a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Visitation for Mary will be on Sunday March 3rd from 12-4pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main St in Montpelier. Services will be Monday at 1pm at the funeral home with Reverend David Tilly to officiate. Mary will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
