GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Ayersville 61, Wauseon 48 – The Indians led after the first quarter but the Pilots outscored Wauseon 36-18 in the second and third quarters to run away with the non-league win. Karli Penrod led the Tribe with 14 points. Wauseon turned the ball over 26 times compared to only 14 turnovers for Ayersville.
Fayette 66, Liberty Center 39 – The Eagles outscored the Tigers 40-5 in the first half on way to their 18th win of the season. Fayette accumulated 10 three-point shots as they were led in scoring by Kaela Seiler with 21 points. Others in double figures included Taylor Griffiths with 13 and Alexis Fruchey with 10. Fayette outrebounded Liberty Center 35-19.

JH BOYS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Pettisville 28, Edon 18 (7th grade) – In a second round BBC tournament game the Blackbirds used 10 points from Jake King and five points from Brayden Barrett as they downed the Bombers to advance to the Saturday Championship game against Stryker.
Pettisville 30, Stryker 19 (8th grade) – The Blackbirds broke out to a 16-5 halftime lead. The Panthers bounced back with 12 third-quarter points but were then outscored 10-2 in the fourth for the Pettisville win. G. Jacoby led Pettisville with 14 points. Emanuel Villanueva led the Panthers with nine points.
