Montpelier’s CK Technologies Names Tony Kramer President

MONTPELIER, Ohio, August 17, 2016 – CK Technologies (CKT), a leading supplier to the commercial truck and bus industry, and a business unit of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Cascade Engineering, today announced the promotion of Tony Kramer to president of CKT. In his new position, Kramer will be responsible for leading the manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, human resources and finance teams at CKT. He replaces Christina Keller who will be relocating to Grand Rapids as president of the Cascade Business team. Kramer will report to Cascade Engineering Family of Companies, president and CEO, Mark Miller.

Kramer joined CKT in 2007 as an account manager, overseeing one of CKT’s key accounts, Navistar. In 2009, he was promoted to commercial director, managing CKT’s account management team and eventually lead program management and cost estimating. He was then promoted to vice president of commercial in 2013 and chief operating officer in 2016.

Kramer has 20 years of experience in the plastics industry, serving as a product manager, plant manager, sales and marketing manager and general manager in various specialties including custom rotational molding, vacuum forming, and injection molding. His industry experience includes automotive, recreational, marine, agricultural, industrial, packaging, medical, and highway safety applications.

A 1992 graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington), Kramer holds a bachelor’s degree with concentrations in business, history, and speech communication. He resides in South Bend, Ind. with his wife Ruth and their three children, Sam (15), Anthony (12) and Luisa (11).
