The North Central High School Drama Club performed the musical “County Fair” this past weekend.
The musical itself was held on Friday April 28th and Saturday April 29th at 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday April 30th at 3:00 p.m.
The musical “County Fair” revolves around two sister who have recently suffered the death of their father.
They return home in order to deal with their inheritance which is a county fair in a rural part of Georgia.
The sisters plan to sell the fair to the highest bidder in order to get a large amount of cash.
However, one of the sisters begins to fall in love with man who is on the board of the fair, as well as the fair itself and the people that live in town.
Her sister, however, notices this and tries to put a stop to the newfound love in order to pay off her substantial gambling debt.
The musical features numerous musical numbers like “Chicken Fried”, “Hey Good Lookin”, “Thank God I’m A Country Boy”, “The House That Built Me”, and more.
The musical put on by the Drama Club was performed very well. The singing was done well as was the choreography.
The acting that took place was also superb with it being obvious just how much work was put into the production.
