PIONEER – Although the temperature on the field was very close to freezing, the bats were red hot, as Hicksville and North Central pounded out 20 hits between them. However, with some assistance from four NC errors, the Aces pushed several more runs across the plate downing the Eagles 19-8.

McKayla Swank hurled the first three innings for North Central giving up 11 runs on six hits, while walking seven. Reese Cogswell pitched the next three frames allowing six runs on five hits fanned two, and issued two free passes to first.
Bralyn Wyrick finished for the Eagles allowing two runs on one hit and whiffed one.
Madison Messner stroked two singles and a double to lead North Central. Reese Cogswell and Sabrina Pickford each singled and doubled, while Abbey Litzenberg singled.
