Randall “Randy” D. Greisinger, age 71, a beloved member of the Delta community, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, September 12, 2023, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. He was surrounded by his loving family at his bedside.

Born on February 2, 1952, in Wauseon, Ohio, Randy was the son of Daryl and Marie (Whitmire) Greisinger.

Randy graduated from Delta High School in 1970 and went on to become a prominent figure in the local business scene. For over four decades, he owned and operated R.D. Greisinger Masonry and Greisinger Tax Service in Delta.

Randy was well respected by his clients for his commitment to excellence and high-quality workmanship.

His attention to detail ensured that every project he worked on was a true testament to his skill and expertise.

Randy’s contributions can be seen throughout Northwest Ohio, including notable structures such as the 911 Memorial at the Fairgrounds, Sullivan’s Restaurant and the Extreme Makeover project in Toledo.

Randy was an avid Ohio State Football fan and had a deep appreciation for the game of baseball.

He generously shared this passion by coaching and umpiring for his kids teams. One of Randy’s greatest joys in life was spending time with family and friends at Long Lake.

Randy will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his kind and compassionate nature.

He treated everyone he encountered with respect and fairness, earning admiration from both clients and employees alike.

He was known for treating his employees like family, fostering an environment of trust and loyalty. Randy’s actions spoke louder than words.

Left to cherish Randy’s memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Sue; daughter, Heather Greisinger; son, Jamie (Cam) Greisinger; brothers, Terry (Janet) Greisinger and Michael Greisinger; many nieces and nephews; as well as special extended family, Mike and Kara Rosene and their kids, Willa and Laurna whom he adored.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Kris Greisinger.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 20th from 4 to 8 pm at the Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home in Delta. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 21st at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Stuart Mahan officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.
