Sally Ann Mullett, 56, of Fayette, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at CHP Inpatient Hospice in Defiance, OH. She was born July 31, 1960, in Lima, OH, to Leroy and Dorothy (Siebenick) Unverferth. She married Marv Mullett on May 24, 1980, in Findlay, OH, and he survives.
Sally, a Findlay native, graduated from Findlay High School in 1978. She and Marv made their home in Fayette in 1983. Sally was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Fayette, where she was instrumental for many years in the facilitating of its annual Turkey Bazaar. She also volunteered countless hours at the St. Vincent DePaul Store in Fayette.
A devoted mother and wife, Sally enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sewing clothes for the American Girl Doll Collection. She is remembered as a wonderful hostess, and took great pride in welcoming people into her home.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 36 years, Marv, are her mother, Dorothy Unverferth of Findlay; two sons, Benjamin (Tanna) Mullett of San Diego, CA, and Andrew (Melody) Mullett of Bowie, MD; a sister, Nancy (Gary) Steffen of Pandora, OH; two brothers, Eugene Unverferth of Findlay and Randy (Janet) Unverferth of Findlay; two grandchildren, Derek and AJ Mullett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service for Sally will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from noon until the time of the service.
