BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Liberty Center 51, Pettisville 41 – The Tigers got 13 points apiece from Christian Chambers and Zack Carpenter on way to their 10-point nonleague win. The Blackbirds’ Gabe Beck paced Pettisville with 12 points.
Antwerp 78, North Central 38
Fairview 64, Stryker 45 – The Panthers were held to five third-quarter points as the Apache rolled to the win. Hayden Clingaman led Stryker with 18 points and Brady Shock added 10.
Edgerton 58, Edon 29
Fayette 48, Montpelier 38 – Jerad Seiler paced the Eagles with 24 points as they upended the Locomotives. Montpelier gathered themselves for 20 fourth-quarter points after just a total of 18 points over the first 24 minutes. But they had dug themselves too deep a hole to get out of as the fourth quarter ticked away. Kolden Uribes led Montpelier with 13 and Michael Blake added 12.
Archbold 67, Continental 53 – The game remained close for three quarters in this nonleague clash. With the Streaks holding on to a 41-38 lead through three quarters they outscored Continental 26-15 in the last eight minutes to help them to their 14-point margin of victory. Toby Walker led Archbold with 21 points and Bryce Williams added 15.
Tinora 70, Hilltop 59 – The Cadets trailed after the first half 40-19. They came out the second half and outscored the Rams 40-30 but it was not enough. Quinn Smith led Hilltop with 17 points and eight rebounds while Ryan Brooker added 12 and Steven Riley 11.

Bryan 50, Hicksville 49 – Bryan (7-9) scored a big nonleague win over the Aces. John Garza was the Bears’ high point man with 13. Dylan Lehmann added 10. Payten Tunis had 14 for Hicksville and Dakota Harvey added 11.
BOYS JV BASKETBALL
North Central 42, Antwerp 38
Fairview 36, Strkyer 29 – Shamar Midgett led Fairview with 13 points during the Apache’s win. The Panthers got 12 points from Chase Glock and Luke Hosopple added eight.
Tinora 38, Hilltop 29 – The Cadets struggles early with just one first-quarter point on way to the nine-point setback. Kohl Collins led Hilltop with nine points.
BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL
Fairview 35, Stryker 32 – Tristian Sampson led the Panthers with 12 points and Daniel Fether added 11. The Panthers hit for just four points in the final quarter to fall with the narrow deficit.
Liberty Center 52, Pettisville 44 – The Tigers pulled away in the third quarter outscoring the Blackbirds 19-11 and then held on in the final quarter for the win. Sam Rychener led Pettisville with 13 points, Brodie Miller and Austin Horning contributed with eight a piece for the Blackbirds.
GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Pettisville 42, Swanton 41 – The Blackbirds fought off a third quarter Swanton rally to squeak out the one-point nonconference win. Pettisville’s Morgan Leppelmeier poured in 22 points to lead the winners. Anya Kauffman added 12 for the Blackbirds. Kyleigh Ramlow led Swanton with 14.
Fayette 48, Montpelier 39 – The Eagles domination of the game started right at the opening tipoff. Fayette led 13-4 after the first quarter and 32-15 at the break on way to their nonconference victory. The Eagles (15-1) were led on the court Taylor Griffith’s 23 points. Griffith sank six 3-point shots to keep the Eagles in the lead through the game. Three other Eagles, Rylee Ruger, Kaela Seiler, and Alexis Fruchey finished in double figures with 16, 11, 10 respectively. The Locomotives (10-6) saw eight players make the scoring column. Hannah Blake, held to just six points, joined Mckenna Quaderer and Landri Mckelvey as their teams leading scorers.
Springfield 49, Wauseon 36 – Springfield used a 23-8 fourth quarter to run away from the Indians in a nonleague contest. The Indians were led by Anna Marshall with 10 points. A trio of Rylee Campbell, Karlie Penrod and Lexi Sauber scored five points apiece.
GIRLS JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL
Pettisville 40, Swanton 23 – The young Blackbirds outscored Swanton 22-4 in the second half to gain the win. Beck led Pettisville with 11 and Harlett matched that total for the Bulldogs finishing with 11 as well.

GIRLS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL
Hilltop 31, Stryker 28 (8th grade) – The Cadets and Panthers played extra time as Hilltop scored nine points in the overtime for the win. The game’s leading scorer was Stryker’s Courtney Stewart with 15 points.Also scoring in double figures for Stryker was Kalista Blevins with eleven. Ryan led Hilltop with 12 points in the win.
North Central 17, Stryker 15 (7th grade) – The Eagles outlasted the Panthers in this seventh grade clash. Westfall led the game in scoring for North Central with six while Kinsey Myers led Stryker with five.
