(PRESS RELEASE) Archbold, Ohio — Tim Grime, front desk associate at Sauder Heritage Inn, recently won Front Desk Associate of the Year given by the Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association (OHLA) during its annual conference.

Grime was chosen from a select group of front desk associates from across the state that were nominated for their commitment to ensuring all guests have an exceptional experience.

Criteria for this award included guest stories and testimonials, prior recognition and team member interactions.

Grime was cited by his coworkers as someone that works hard, strives to keep busy and goes out of his way to consistently provide the best experience possible for guests, from sewing a button on the tuxedo of a grandfather of the bride minutes before the ceremony began, to ordering an Easter bunny outfit and handing out treats to guests, to picking up the tab for mothers purchasing drinks and snacks at the Inn Marketplace on Mother’s Day.

Recently retired, Grime described his job at the Heritage Inn as his “fun, hobby job” and said he loves interacting with guests from all over the world.

Heritage Inn’s Valerie Rice was also recognized by OHLA with a nomination for General Manager of the Year.

Sauder Heritage Inn offers a unique destination for family getaways, group tours, meetings and conferences. Call 1-800-590-9755 for reservations and inquiries.
