Susanne Sanders Glover Lester, age 87, of Fayette, died Wednesday evening, September 30, 2015 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born July 18, 1928 in Ann Arbor, MI. to the late Paul Overton and Susan Eugenia (Dodge) Glover. She married Jack Lester on July 3, 1948 in Fayette and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2005.
Susanne was a homemaker , belonged to a Bridge Club, The Lake Gang and Pi Beta Phi Sorority at Ohio State University where she attended for two years. She especially enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen Lester and Kent (Barb) Lester of Fayette, a daughter Susan Eugenia (Richard) Repp of Fayette, one sister, Natalie Dodge Glover Short of Archbold, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Paul Gene Glover and a grandaugher, Shea Lester.
A funeral service for Susanne will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel, Fayette with Pastor Gene Rupp officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Union Cemetery, Fayette. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 11:00a.m.- 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
