Terry Lee Beck, 77, of Fulton County Manor, formally of Marzolf Lane Fayette, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Fulton County Manor.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, to Russel and Maxine Beck. He graduated from Redford High. He met the love of his life, Nancy, through mutual friends (Mike and Karen). They got married on October 23, 1965.
After high school he went to trade school to become a barber which he enjoyed, and he also played rhythm guitar in a local rock band.
Terry started a family and a well-known business Beck’s Cheese Haus on Lime Creek Road. Later in life he purchased properties to rent out as well as his cottage on Harrison Lake, where he and his wife retired.
He held his own bible studies and card nights with family, friends, and neighbors. He became ordained and was able to officiate his granddaughter’s wedding before passing. He was a strong Christian and will be greatly missed by all who’ve known him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Russel and Maxine, his wife Nancy and survived by his brother, Roger Beck, his favorite sister-in-law, Dixie Lee Beck, His son, Christian J. Beck, His favorite daughter-in-law Lacey Beck; seven grandchildren: Andrew, Hope, Lee, Sara, Hailey, Christian, and Carrielee; and seven great grandchildren: Lillian, Rose, Daisy, Abigail, Everette, Peyton and a baby boy.
