Timothy A. Postlewait, age 62, of Delta, with his loving family by his side; passed away at the Fulton County Health Center, Sunday afternoon, November 3, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tim was born September 5, 1957 to the late Richard Postlewait and Elizabeth (Glynn) Postlewait.

He graduated from Rogers High School in 1976. On February 14, 1993 he married Christina M. McCready and shared loving years together until her passing on March 26, 2015.

Tim was owner and operator of Tim’s Roofing Service for 25 years until poor health forced him to retire in 2015. He was an avid OSU Buckeye fan; also enjoying gardening, puzzles and vintage black and white western television shows and movies.

Tim’s fondness for a good margarita led to friendships and good conversation at his favorite restaurants of Barron’s and Shuckers in Swanton.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Timothy (Susan) Postlewait, Samantha Postlewait and David (Mandi) Jacobs Sr; brother, Richard Postlewait; sisters, Judiann (Craig) Shepherd and Sue (John) Johnson; and grandchildren, Teagan Postlewait, Savanna Gibson, TJ Postlewait, Sebastian Gibson, David Jacobs Jr; Madilynn Jacobs and many loving friends.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held announced at a later date.  Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A special thank you to the staff at the Fulton County Health Center for their sincere care and bedside manner.
