2023 BAF Good Citizen Awarded & BAF Annual Members Meeting Held

GOOD CITIZEN AWARD … On Thursday, October 19th, members of the Bryan Area Foundation, along with community leaders gathered at the Eagles in Bryan for the 54th Annual Bryan Area Foundation meeting of the members. The evening included commentary by BAF Chair, Diana Moore Eschhofen, President/CEO report by Amy Miller (comments attached), presentations by 3 Forgivable Loan Recipients (PPT slides attached) on their pending new Bryan businesses, and the 2023 Good Citizen Award presented to Bill Martin. Pictured are nominators for Bill Martin including BAF Chair, Diana Moore Eschhofen, Julie Brown, 2023 Good Citizen Bill Martin, Mayor Carrie Schlade, and Chip Wood. Each of these individuals submitted a Good Citizen nomination for Bill, and each shared a brief story about Bill to exemplify why he is deserving of the 2023 award.
