CPC Women’s Health Resource is hosting a very special 27th Anniversary Spring Benefit on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Founders Hall in Archbold. The WBCL Radio Network will again co-sponsor this annual event. The program begins at 7:00PM and will feature Shawn Carney, the co-founder of 40 Days for Life campaigns. Attendees will enjoy an awe-inspiring blend of experiences including inspirational music provided by Kurt Nofziger and Aliese Hill, local music talents; heartfelt personal client stories; and an energetic and enlightening message from our nationally known speaker, Shawn Carney.

Longer subscription plans are also available. Subscriptions cover our costs to attend local events; bringing forth Hometown News Coverage to our communities.”]

Shawn Carney is one of the youngest and most inspirational pro-life speakers in the US today. He began in the pro-life movement as the Executive Director of the Coalition for Life organization. His passion for local pro-life ministry led to rapid growth during his four-years as their ED.
In 2004, Shawn helped to lead the first-ever 40 Days for Life Campaign in College Station, Texas. This breakthrough initiative – made up of 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion, round-the-clock peaceful vigil and grassroots door-to-door outreach – dropped local abortion numbers by 28%.

Beginning in 2007, Shawn helped to expand 40 Days for Life to over 500 cities in all 50 US states, six Canadian Provinces, England, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Russia, Nigeria, Argentina and Denmark. His efforts have mobilized more than 500,000 pro-life volunteers over the last 5 years. 40 Days for Life has confirmed reports of over 7,000 mothers choosing life and over 60 abortion center workers who have had a change of heart and left their jobs, including Abby Johnson, the author of the book UnPlanned written about her challenging experience in coming out of the abortion industry.

Shawn is a regular media spokesperson and he has been featured on hundreds of media outlets including Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor”, “Focus on the Family”, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and Christian media, including The Christian Post, National Catholic Register, and EWTN Radio. Shawn’s experience in national pro-life ministry has led him across America, inspiring audiences at pregnancy center events, conferences, colleges, and schools. His passion for helping women and the unborn is contagious. Shawn resides in Fredericksburg, VA with his wife and four children.
The CPC’s mission is to help young women and their families who may be involved in an unplanned pregnancy. We offer free pregnancy testing as well as parenting classes which give our clients the opportunity to earn baby items in the Earn While You Learn program, while learning important parenting skills to help make them become better parents. Free medical services, including ultrasounds and STD testing, are available by appointment, as is the confidential post-abortion support group called HEART. Project Respect offers character education in schools with the messages of healthy choices, including abstinence from risky behaviors, information about avoiding teen pregnancy and STD’s, and establishing positive character traits as a foundation for the future.

Join CPC Women’s Health Resource for one of the best family events available to Northwest Ohio. Tickets may be purchased at all four CPC locations: 1410 W. High St. Bryan; 1997 N. Clinton St. Defiance; 1330-A N. Scott St., Napoleon; and 1499 Glenwood Ave., Wauseon. Call 419-636-5692 for more information on the CPC services, the upcoming Spring Benefit, or to purchase $12 reserved tickets.
