4-H Camp Palmer was the recipient of a $2000 grant from The North Western Electric Trust. This trust is funded through contributions Cooperative members make to Operation Round-Up program each month. Those funds then are placed into the Trust to be awarded to local charitable agencies and individuals in need. This donation will be used for the camp’s new swimming pool project scheduled to begin in late August of this year.

The new pool is scheduled to be ready by June of 2015. Over $280,000 has been raised for project which will cost a total of $495,000. Next week our summer campers will begin coming to camp for the 67th year. The original pool will be in operation for one last season. Donations can still be made to the pool project by calling 419-237-2247 or by participating in our current brick memorial project.
