Ohio State Patrol Investigating Fatal Hit-Skip Crash On US 20 In Fulton County

Amboy Township – The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Toledo Post is currently investigating a fatal hit-skip crash that occurred on September 20, 2018, at approximately 9:00 PM on US 20, milepost 22, Amboy Township, Fulton County.

Michelle Moore, age 50, of Toledo, Ohio, was involved in a one vehicle crash on US 20, mile post 22. Ms. Moore went off the left side of the road and struck several trees. After striking the trees, Ms. Moore was ejected from the vehicle coming to rest in the middle of the roadway. An unknown passenger car, which was driving westbound on US 20, struck Ms. Moore. After striking Ms. Moore, the unknown vehicle failed to stop after the crash occurred and was unable to be located. Ms. Moore was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Ohio State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Superior Towing, Ohio Department of Transportation, Lyons Fire and EMS, and the Wauseon Fire Department.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the crash should contact the Toledo Patrol Post at 419-865-5544.
