Hilltop Lady Cadets Fall In Close Game To The Delta Lady Panthers

DELTA – The Hilltop Lady Cadets took to the road on December 10 to take on NWOAL opponent Delta. In a close game into the fourth, the Lady Cadets fell by the score of 62-52 to the Lady Panthers.

As a team, the Lady Cadets were 14 of 27 for two point shots and were 3 out of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Cadets also shot 15-20 from the line. Delta dominated the boards on both ends of the court, outrebounding Hilltop 30-18. The Lady Cadets also had 19 assists on the night and committed 14 turnovers in the game.

For the Lady Cadets, Emily Armbruster led the way in scoring, dropping in 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Kailey Kramer and Hannah Bleikamp each added 10. Bleikamp also had 4 assists and 4 steals on the game. Also chipping in on the scoreboard was Bailey Funkhouser with 6 points, Destiny Denton added 3 points and 7 assists, while Cierra Grant and Kayla Settlemire added 2 points. JeAnn Joost rounded out the scoring with 1 point on the night for the Lady Cadets.
