The 2012-13 Fayette Artist Series opens on Saturday, October 20th at 7:30 p.m. at Fayette’s historic Opera House with a performance by the dynamic men’s ensemble Ten-40 A Cappella.

Ten40 A Cappella is a 12-man pop a cappella group representing Bowling Green State University.  Although the purpose of this group is to entertain, the ensemble also serve an educational purpose through a diverse repertoire consisting of pop music, chamber music, Christmas carols, and even barbershop music.

Ten40 was formed in the fall of 2010 as a completely student-run organization.  Since its creation, the group has worked to become recognized both on campus and within the larger region.

In the year and a half since its formation the group has grown and is recognized by student bodies and communities throughout the Midwest. In the past year, Ten40 has performed at Miami University a cappella festival, BGSU’s Dance Marathon and Mini Dance Marathon, and various Greek Life events and benefits. It has also performed live wire concerts on WBGU Television and radio.

The group’s motto: “As we raise our voices loud and clear, we’ll perform for all who come to hear. Our love for music will never wane. Let’s hit the stage and entertain” describes the mission of this energetic ensemble and offers audiences the promise of a great evening of enrichment and entertainment.

Season Passes and General Admission Tickets will be available at the door or may be reserved by calling (419) 237-3111 and leaving a request for tickets.

Group ticket prices are also available for groups of ten or more.

As always, there will be a post concert reception following the performance.
