Edon JV Win Dogfight With Fayette

October 5, 2014Updated:December 31, 2020No Comments1 Min Read

(October 2nd, 2014)-EDON: The fact that the Lady Bombers won in straight sets is quite deceiving.

Inviting the Eagles of Fayette to Edon, the Bombers Junior Varsity squad put its 7-0 Buckeye Border Conference record on the line. The Lady Eagles weren’t intimidated, however, and gave the Edon girls all they could handle.

A struggle from the offset, the two teams jockeyed for position in game 1. Fayette battled hard, but lost a tough set 19-25. Game 2 saw an even more determined Lady Eagles team come after the Bombers. Edon was able to hold them off, though, taking a 25-22 victory to claim the match.

Improving to 13-3 overall, Edon remains perfect in the BBC with an 8-0 record.
