The Pettisville Board of Education held their meeting on Tuesday, December 14th at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. With no visitors wishing to address the board, a moment of recognition was observed.

Jeff Chambers of the Ohio School Boards Association recognized John King and Rick Graber for their years of service on the Pettisville Board of Education.

The board then moved to approve the minutes for the November 15th meeting as well as the financial reports and payment of the bills.

A transfer of $17,000 from the general fund to the athletic fund to cover losses in revenue caused by the Covid pandemic and loss of ticket sales was then conducted followed by the board approving policy updates.

Brent Hoylman was appointed President Pro Tem for the organizational meeting. Josh Clark was then designated to attend the required Sunshine Law training on behalf of the board.

Executive session was then entered into with the following measures being taken after returning from session. Approved a three-year contract for Adam Wagner to become Pettisville schools 7-12th grade principal effective August 1st, 2022.

Approved up to 15 per diem days for Adam Wagner to assist in the transition to the role of Pettisville Schools 7-12th grade principal.

Approved a stipend of $5,586.30 to Mandy Wyman for additional school counseling duties for the 2021-2022 school year.
