Delta (5-2, 3-1 NWOAL) @ Wauseon (5-2, 3-1 NWOAL) 7pm

Two teams in the thick of the race to make the playoffs in their respective divisions meet at Harmon Field on Friday night.

Delta currently sets at No. 10 in Division V Region 18 while Wauseon holds the No. 10 spot in Division IV Region 14.

Delta’s ground game has led the way with Jeremiah Wolford (113 att., 735 yards, 10 TDs) and Bryar Knapp (46 att., 422 yards, 5 TDs) carrying the load.

This starts a tough stretch of three games for Delta to end the regular season with games at home versus Patrick Henry and Liberty Center on the horizon.

Following a 40-6 loss to Liberty Center, the Indians made a switch at quarterback as Trey Parsons has started the last three games.

For the season Parsons is 72/97 for 935 yards with 11 touchdowns and three interceptions as Wauseon features three of the top receivers in the league.

Jude Armstrong is the team leader in receptions (38), yards (451), and touchdowns (6) with Tyson Rodriguez (32 rec., 435 yards, 3 TDs) and Sam Smith (24 rec., 340 yards, 5 TDs) rounding out the trio.

Norwalk St. Paul (5-2) @ Edon (4-3) 7pm

Coming off a win last week over Hilltop, Edon hosts the Norwalk St. Paul Flyers in the teams third meeting since 2019.

St. Paul has won both of the previous encounters, last year 45-44 in Norwalk and 35-21 in the Division VII Region 26 quarterfinals back in 2019.

St. Paul comes to Edon riding a five-game winning streak after starting the season 0-2.

The Flyers, who are currently No. 4 in the Division VII Region 25 computer ratings, have outscored opponents 197-76 during the streak, averaging 39.4 ppg.
