Pettisville FFA Members Attend Conference & Participate In Career Development Events

AG FEST GROUP … Six FFA members attended the Fulton County 3rd Grade Ag Fest on September 19. They helped run the small animal station, which included rabbits, chickens, and goats. OLLC … Four Pettisville FFA members traveled to Columbus on September 27 to attend the Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference. The event was held at the Statehouse, and FFA members learned about lobbying and policy making. They also had lunch with state senators and representatives and discussed new legislation that is being passed that impacts FFA members. SOILS … Thirty Pettisville FFA members competed at the Fulton County Soils Career Development Event. Eight FFA members moved on to compete in the district FFA contest. The team placed 4th at the district level, with Creighton Aeschliman placing 6th individually and Ella Richer placing 7th individually. FLORICULTURE … Eight FFA members competed in the District 1 Floriculture Career Development Event. They placed 2nd as a team, with Jenna Norman placing 5th individually.
