(June 1st, 2015) – TINORA: The Lady Blackbirds showed resounding resiliency in the second game of a double header with the Lady Rams of Tinora.

After suffering a 10-0 shutout loss in game one, the Pettisville defense stepped up in a big way to earn the victory in a dogfight to close out the evening.  They were able to give the Rams a taste of their own medicine, holding Tinora scoreless in the win.

Pettisville topped Tinora 1-0 in the close contest.

It was Sami Tilley who came up big for the Pettisville offense.  A single in the top of the third allowed her to work the base paths.  Tilley was able to work her way across home plate for what would turn out to be the only run scored by either side in the game.

Also hitting for the Blackbirds was Jasmyn Barton, who knocked her way to second base with a double.
