The male Athlete of the Week is Montpelier football player Hayden Sharps. Last Friday, Sharps threw for 247 yards to set a new school record for career passing yards (3,622) and tossed five touchdowns which tied a school record for a single game and gave him 35 career touchdown passes, also a school record.
Earlier in the season, he became the all-time leader in pass attempts and is just 24 completions away from the record for a career.
