On October 17, 2024, the Four County Career Center Board of Education held the Regular Board Meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Four County Career Center.
New staff to Four County Career Center were introduced and summer work experience presentations were made by Chris Zacharias, Jill Westhoven and Eric Eisel. The Finance Committee met following the meeting.
As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board approved:
-September Board Meeting Minutes.
-Financial statements and investments for the month of September 2024 as presented.
-Appropriation modifications.
-A transfer from the General Fund to the Severance & Retirement Fund.
-Sheila Franz as custodian of the Business Office Petty Cash Fund.
-Ratification of the insurance rates set by the Northern Buckeye Health Plan for 2025 calendar year.
As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
-Resignation for the purpose of retirement for Christine Badenhop effective May 31, 2025.
-Certified, Bus and Educational Aide Substitutes as presented.
-One Year Contract to Danny Becher as Assistant Building and Grounds Supervisor.
-Instructors for the Agriculture Education 5th Quarter Grant Program for the 2024-25 school year.
-Adult Education Instructors as presented.
-Napoleon and Fulton County CBI class project to assist in filling boxes for Henry and Fulton County Christmas Cheer.
-Donations from Kelly Crocker and The Tractor Supply Store in Toledo.
The Board also approved the resolution to approve construction documents and sole single procurement designations for the board’s renovations and additions project.
Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular November Board Meeting, on November 21, 2024 at 5:30 in Room A101A at Four County Career Center. The Records Commission will meet at 5:15 prior to the meeting.
