The Williams County Public Library hosted the 5th annual Fountain City Fandemonium on Saturday, September 27th, transforming the Bryan Main Library into a hub of pop culture, creativity, and community. The event, running from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., welcomed fans of all ages for a day filled with family-fun.

This year’s Fandemonium featured food trucks to keep attendees fueled: Cousin Maine Lobster, Weepa Bros, Pink Penguin Ice Cream, and more.

Visitors also enjoyed a wide range of activities, including a trivia contest testing knowledge of Disney, Tim Burton, and Dog Man. A scavenger hunt throughout the library was held as well.

A special “Jurassic Experience” added to the day’s excitement, which was sponsored by the Friends of the Bryan Library. This featured a live Jurassic experience alongside a Jurassic Park Utility Vehicle. Three Disney Princesses also made an appearance, which delighted the younger fans.

One of the highlights of the day was the costume contest, held at 2:00 p.m., where attendees showcased creative outfits representing their favorite characters.

The vendor area provided an additional draw, with booths offering collectibles, homemade jewelry, snacks, and unique creations from local artists and authors.

Fandemonium also included face painting, panels, door prizes, and opportunities to meet professional cosplayers and authors.

The Fountain City Fandemonium remains free to the public, offering a refreshing way to celebrate fandom and imagination in the heart of Bryan.
